Most women’s ring sizes start for narrow fingers with ring size 48 to 56, wider fingers with ring dimensions 57 to 62.
The men’s ring sizes start for narrow fingers with ring size 58 to 63, wide fingers with ring dimensions 64 to 70.
Step 1:
To determine your ring size, look for a well-fit ring.
Step 2:
Trade fair with a ruler or measuring slider, the INNENDURCHMESSER in millimeters.
Please measure very carefully!
Step 3:
Your ring has an inner diameter of 17.5mm. If you look in the ring size table, you will see that it corresponds to the german ring size 55.
Step 1:
Please cut a strip of paper from a sheet of paper with the following dimensions:
0.5 cm wide and 10 cm long
Step 2:
Wrap the strip around your finger and tighten it well so that you can easily rotate the paper strip around your finger.
Step 3:
Mark both endings and now determine your ring sizeby placing the strip on the ruler and reading your inside circumference in millimeters,
e.g. 55 mm thats the ring size 55 in line.
For 100% security, it’s best to talk to a jeweler or goldsmith. This can measure your finger with various measuring tools such as .B. a ring stick (fig. 1) or a ring template. Please note the exact inner diameter in millimeters,as well as your correct ring size e.B. ring size 15 which corresponds to the ring size 55.

If you want to surprise and gift your loved one with a beautiful ring or engagement ring – but don’t know the ring size, use one of the two procedures described above “secretly”. You have two ways to determine the ring size secretly: “Determine ring size with ring” by taking a well-fitting ring from the person and using the ring to calculate the ring size or “determine ring size without ring” by secretly measuring the inner circumference of the finger.
If you are discreet or ask a friend for help, then the surprise becomes all the greater.
The fingers of the left and right hand are often different in width. Please calculate your ring size on the hand where you will wear the ring.
Fingers are usually thinner in winter than in summer. The lower the temperature, the thinner the fingers.
The circumference of your fingers changes over the course of your life, so you shouldn’t rely on ring sizes measured a long time ago. Determine your ring size as directly as possible before purchase.
The size of the finger also changes often during the day. So the fingers in the morning are usually thinner than in the evening.
